On December 4, 2019, an event was held at the Catholic Academy in Hamburg on the subject of “Successfully implementing digitization in medium-sized businesses”.
At the event, experts and SMEs provided practical impulses – the introduction and panel discussion offered suggestions on how digitization can be successfully implemented in companies.
Our main topic was “Designing IT security”.
The practical example covered how production data and measured values can be managed securely and in compliance with data protection regulations. The participants were given an overview of strategies and the importance of IT security, especially for the digitization of industrial plants. The practical example focused on the secure handling of production data and measured values of customers and how these can be secured, stored and archived in a data protection compliant manner.
The COO of SH-Tools, Mr. Normen Ludwig-von Paledzki, presented the topic comprehensively and was well received by the participants.
